I was going to translate my review for the Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover here, but then I found Nicole’s review and it says pretty much everything I’d say and a few things more, so I recommend you go over there and read it.
But I can tell you I really loved the result with this product. Here is how it worked in my own cuticle:
Hi there, I hope everything is going well with you! *-*
Today I’ll show you a little experiment I did and worked really well! The inspiration came from the Brazilian soap opera “Verdades Secretas”. One of the characters is wearing the Mac Sin lipstick, gorgeous:
Then I wanted something similar! But since buying every single shade of Mac lipstick is out of the question right now (unfortunately), I took advantage of what I had and came up with a combination that I loved!
First I used my Revlon Colorstay Lipliner in Chocolate, which is a beautiful color by itself. Being a lipliner, it is a bit dry and very matte. Here it is:
Then I applied Mac’s Creme in Your Coffee over it. It has a cremesheen finish and is quite moisturizing. Here’s the result!
I just loved it! If you have any such combinations do share it with me!
Mary Kay Shell lipstick – I forgot about this one for a few weeks and then when I wore it again it was instant love! It’s a perfect pinky nude for my skin color.
It has a creamy finish, and looks even more natural if you blot it a little. I love nude lipsticks, it’s a subtle effect that makes a world of difference. You look put together in a I-wake-up-like-this kind of way.
Compared here with Mac’s Creme in your Coffee:
They look really similar before you apply them, but then you can see clearly that the Mac is slightly darker and more brown than pink.
And finally them both with another nude from Fenzza, color “01”. I love this lipstick and its color, despite the generic packaging, but it lacks in durability compared to the other two. A matching lip gloss is also included, which I like to apply at the center of the lips to get a fuller effect.
When I went to Seattle earlier this year I tried to travel really light, since I was going to carry everything around by myself. That’s when having a travel kit can help you a lot!
I’m going to show you a few things I bought once I got there, which were the shampoo, the body wash and the facial scrub.
Pantene Pro-V Volume Silicone Free Shampoo: This one had a texture quite different from what I’m used to, a bit more viscous. I thought it was good but nothing special, and as I said in another post, I was more interested in trying the Aussie line.
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub: I’m so glad I got this one. I’ve been using facial scrubs at least three times a week lately, and I see a big difference compared to when I’m just using the regular soap. My skin feels much cleaner. I had heard of this one through other bloggers before, and now I also recommend it!
Softsoap Body Wash, Juicy Pomegranate and Mango Infusions: I just loved it, it smells great! And as specified in the package, it comes with little moisture beads. Me likes.
You can barely see the shampoo in this picture, but it is there!
I was glad I found those travel sizes, I bought them at a Walgreens close to the hostel where I stayed. It would be a waste to buy the normal sized ones because of the limits for liquids when flying, you’d probably have to throw them away!
I’ve had so much to do this week! I finally found some time to take care of my nails. I bought this nail polish when I wanted to try a softer shade, so I chose this lovely nude by Brazilian brand Risqué.
The first time I applied it I thought it looked a bit too subdued, but after a day or two I was already in love! I’ll try it with one of the Konad stamps to add some detail and see how it looks.
The coverage is quite good, I applied only one generous coat. Now I want to try other similar colors! Do you have one you’d recommend? I’d love to hear about it!
